Other than the rounding, the total balance of all envelopes is what is represented there. If there is a problem, it would be in starting balances from say cash accounts or debt accounts.

I would agree the Available for Funding report could be improved by including a subtotal for the net total of all envelope balances. This would correspond to the subtotal of account balances already present. The difference between the two subtotals is the available amount.

also! if you have any negatives envelope, the available balance calculates it by adding a negative number, mathematically increasing your available funds! Although it's technically correct, and "the math checks out" it isn't correct financially. what should be done on the backend is that when calculation the available funds, with negative envelopes, it should ignore them OR do a calculation based on absolute value.
